The Facilities and Process Engineering Group at ConocoPhillips is an engineering group within Drilling and Production that provides technical support to ConocoPhillips global projects and operations. <p>Tony Ray joined ConocoPhillips in July of 2008 after working as Senior Project Manager in the Subsea Systems Groups at both J&nbsp;P&nbsp;Kenny and INTEC Engineering. Tony's career in the oil industry began well over a decade ago as a test engineer for National Oilwell in Houston, Texas. In July of 2002 he moved to Aker Kvaerner Subsea (AKS) as a Project Manager for subsea equipment in Houston. While at AKS Tony served in multiple roles focused on subsea production and controls systems. In 2002 he was assigned as a deputy project manager on Total's Dalia Ultra-Deepwater Project in West Africa and was eventually moved into a Project Management Role for the Subsea Equipment. In October of 2005 he was promoted to U.S. Service Manager for AKS, in this role Tony was responsible for AKS's subsea service operations in the Gulf of Mexico.</p> <p>Tony earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronic's from Eastern Kentucky University in 1993.
